    A talk on Stowe Gardens by head gardener, Barry Smith, at6 for 6.30 p.m in the Vinson Centre. Free entry, no need to book. Open to Friends and students welcome!  We also hope to organise a guided tour for students of Stowe gardens at a later date.

    The Dean of the School of Law and Vice-Chancellor are delighted to co-host the forthcoming Michael Beloff KC Masterclass in Law lecture.

  • An Evening with Sir Brandon Lewis CBE

    Tuesday 22 April

    5.30 for 6 p.m. to 7.15 p.m at the Vinson Centre. A Talk and interview by Vice Chancellor James Tooley. 


    Sir Brandon studied at the University of Buckingham and was MP for Great Yarmouth from 2010 to 2024 when he stepped down.  He served as Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor in 2022 and was the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2020 to 2022.

REGULAR MEETINGS

MEMBERS MONTHLY LUNCH

The monthly lunches will run from January to October – with a gap in November for the Annual Dinner and in December for the Christmas social. Great food at a great venue and a chance to meet up with friends and maybe even make some new ones. Often including an informative talk by a local speaker.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Held in May each year, the Friends AGM where everyone has the opportunity to air their views on any aspect of the Friends.

The AGM is combined with a very enjoyable program of entertainment popular with Friends members.
